Data Security & Privacy

Last updated: May 21, 2026

MemoArc is built as a memory-first archive. Our security promise is simple: protect private memories, explain what we do honestly, and keep support, public discovery, official accounts, and admin power narrow and auditable.

Private archive promise

Private memories are for you and the people you explicitly choose. MemoArc does not sell private archive data, place ads inside private archive surfaces, or use private memories to train AI models without explicit consent.

Encryption and access

  • Data is encrypted in transit with HTTPS/TLS.
  • Stored files and account data are protected with encryption at rest through our infrastructure providers.
  • Operational access is limited to what is needed for support, security, abuse prevention, legal duties, and service delivery.
  • We only describe a feature as end-to-end encrypted when that specific feature technically supports it.

Account and platform protection

  • We use authentication, session protection, role-based access, and monitoring to reduce account and platform risk.
  • Security and billing notifications may still be sent even if you turn off optional notifications.
  • We review sensitive changes before launch so public trust copy matches how the product actually works.

Support access boundaries

  • MemoArc support should never require password sharing.
  • Official-account support access is customer-approved, time-limited, recorded, and scoped to the help request.
  • Billing, team permissions, exports, private media, and destructive actions remain locked during support access.

AI and processing

AI features should help with practical archive tasks such as search, transcription, duplicate cleanup, OCR, trip grouping, and recap drafting. AI should not decide the emotional meaning of your memories.

Private archive content is not used to train AI models without explicit consent.
